l_bacall asked: I want to get my soon to be 8 year old niece her own bowling ball for her upcoming birthday. I know an 8 pound ball would be too heavy and I think 6 pounds is too light.
None of the current balls at brunswick or ebonite are 7 pound…I have already looked.

Just check with bowling.com, bowlersparadise.com, bowlingball.com or bowlingballsales.com. Those retailers have various weights of bowling equipment and it is not unusual for them to offer 7 lb. balls. They also have ones that are geared to a younger crowd with cartoon themes too!
