How many people on a team in league bowling?

My husband was on a company softball team, and the season just ended. A few of the guys are now talking about joining a bowling league. How many players are generally on a team?

   Typically four.

   two (doubles) to five (baker). Depends on the type of league.

   Around here, we’re lucky to get two per team , and that’s if we can even get enough teams to make a league (bowling isn’t exactly popular in this area LOL). I spent one summer bowling as a fill-in.
