How does Wii Sports bowling count scores at the very end of the game?

I love Wii Bowling. It’s a lot of fun. But can anyone explain me how it counts points at the end of the game. Sometimes I have 210 for the game, but then only +10 points as a score. Other time I have 189, and it gives me +25 points. Thank you.
